Hey fellow speculator, I’m Roderick.  Good to e-meet you.

My philosophy around all things risk, chance, and probabilities is simple.

Trading is a skill. Developing a skill takes time, effort, commitment, and ideally a deep-seated passion for the pursuit.

Most trading education sites, services, gurus, and marketers will rarely tell it like it is. To be blunt, trading is not for the dabblers, the dreamers, or the desperate. It requires, above all, one steadfast trait – dedication.  When I hear or read about super simple strategies, systems, and worst of all, trading secrets, it makes my skin crawl. (Can you tell I dig alliteration by the way?) When I listen to sales videos that claim you can generate returns with little or no effort, as a total beginner, and in as few as 5 minutes a day, I physically cringe.

Folks, trading the financial markets DOES NOT WORK like that!

Progress, and ultimately success, in a trading career comes down to a very simple equation, the two decisions that move your biggest goals from possible, to probable, to inevitable.  Do you believe, or more precisely, do you have unwavering faith, that you are worthy, deserving, and capable of meeting and exceeding all of your goals from trading? And secondly, are you willing to put forth the extraordinary effort required to do so?

The phrasing of these two decisions, unwavering faith and extraordinary effort, are taken directly from “The Miracle Equation” by Hal Elrod.  I highly recommend you give it a read or listen.

Cool. That’s it for now. If you’ve read down to this point and are wondering where to get started, a fabulous decision is to join our free-forever Discord where we post dozens of trade ideas, market analysis, and countless other gems each month. See ya there.
